Hi, I’m Dani, a photographer based in the Five Towns.
I’ve been taking photos for over 10 years – I started when I was in High School, and I’ve been learning and growing in my photography ever since. Eight years ago I began spending my summers in Camp HASC, a camp for all ages with special needs, capturing the love, innocence, and beauty that is fostered there —with my camera as a tool. It is there where I cultivated an awareness for candid moments; a sensibility for knowing when the emotional moments will be, and where they will happen. You may notice me standing in position, finger on the shutter, waiting -- but I'm purposefully waiting for that moment to happen, for the emotion to manifest.
And that's why I love taking photos of events and people. Whether the occasion or the moment is joyous or sentimental, I want to partake in capturing the emotional moments that make life rich.
